per vertical photoAs the previous owner of a senior move management company I provided a service helping seniors to downsize and move for over 4 years. Through this service I learned firsthand how to best serve families with their relocation. Helping clients for weeks at a time with the daunting task of choosing belongings to toss, keep or donate and then moving them to their new apartment, built trust, confidence and gratitude with all family members concerned.

With a love for working with the elderly, I also held positions with Compassionate Hands Hospice in Irving, Texas and as Marketing Director at Sterling House Assisted Living in Denton, Texas. Sterling House is owned by Brookdale Senior Living, the largest provider of senior housing in America.  Helping families choose just the right community and getting to know them personally brought me tremendous joy and satisfaction during this season. Family members became lifelong friends!

Through my career experiences and after assisting my own dad with a search for quality rehabilitation, I recognized a need for an all-inclusive, turn-key relocation service for seniors and their adult children. For this reason, I established The Surrogate Daughter. Families benefit by dealing with one person to research, coordinate and manage their relocation process. Communication, planning, reporting and accountability are facilitated in a much more efficient manner.

I will continue to strive in helping seniors live life to the fullest in a wonderful community setting.  As you transition to your new home, my job is to insure your experience goes as smoothly as possible with the least amount of stress and worry. I look forward to serving you and your family.

Although I serve all of North Texas, I am a native of Fort Worth and still reside in Tarrant County. My two daughters are now all grown up. Laura, newly married, lives here in the DFW Metroplex while Kate and her husband live in Boston. No grandchildren yet, but I do have 3 grand dogs! I am an active member in multiple senior healthcare organizations as well as local, state and national real estate associations.  As a member of Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, I am involved in volunteer ministry.

The Surrogate Daughter gives back by donating a portion of their profit to Meals On Wheels, a non-profit which blesses thousands of homebound seniors and disabled citizens every week through their meal delivery program.
